Anyone in the independent music circuit can attest to the difficulties of ‘getting your music out there’, and getting airplay on media channels. The reggae scene in particular lack such channels and so makes it even more difficult for a reggae artist. But that does not deter some from finding ways and means to ‘get the music out there’. Take the upcoming tour to be embarked by Don Franco, Jeremiah Fyah Ises and Teban Cee as an instance. The trio is set to take their music to the people by playing live gigs throughout the country. They are combining forces to maximise on limited resources and to feed of and support each other in their individual projects.
“Seek and Serve” The name of our Tour means Seek yea The Kingdom Of His Majesty and when you have found it then Serve Him in doing what he calls you to do it.
Don Franco
The Seek and Serve tour spearheaded by Legion 16 Movement has two main objectives: To promote Don Franco’s upcoming EP titled Seek and Serve and to get their music out to all parts of South Africa. Teban Cee has steadily built up his body of work, voicing local and international riddims and built up a fan base in the process.
Jeremiah Fyah Ises is a regular on the live circuit scene and has released his debut album Uhambo which has the hit single Mama, a favouritie tune at his live performances.
