Cape Town based Sir Blackol Records is gearing up for what promises to be an eventful 2015 after shutting down 2014 with a bang. Their Threat Riddim, which produced hits like Shiver Shiver Dance, made it to the number one spot on the Top Ten Riddims for 2104. They are now hard at work in the studio brewing up some concoction in a form of Riddims that will be released every month until July.
First up is the January Riddim called Tyrese; the version is already out and it shall see the likes of Asian Black, Miss Independent [Cape Town], Mother and daughter duo – Pepper Hot ft Tanya from the UK; and newcomer Freewoman outta Cape Town. Tyrese Riddim is unique in that it features many female artists. Asian Black returns again pon the same Riddim in a collabo with Da Real Future from the UK. Other artists riding on this Riddim are Chicks B, Ashy J, Love Rock, Trust Afro, Blackol and Diamond White. It is expected to be out just before the end of January, in time for February Lover’s month, as it is laden with lovers chunes. Be on the look out for it.
