Sting, the greatest one night Dancehall Reggae show on earth will be held in Portmore, Jamaica at JamWorld on December 26, 2015. This is one of the most anticipated annual event on the Reggae Calendar. The theme this year is ‘From then til now’ which means the event will be centred around honouring major contributors to Jamaican music industry and no clash is scheduled for this year.
South Africa’s Black Dillinger will be gracing the stage at this years event to represent Mzansi Reggae. This will be the first South African act to ever perform at Sting. ‘I feel so blessed and honored to be representing South Africa at this big event’, explained the singjay. ‘It is both a personal victory and a collective victory as I will be representing my home turf’.
Black Dillinger will be part of the African Connection segment at Sting. It is a initiative by the promoters called Sting Africa, which aims to give African Reggae and Dancehall artists the opportunity to perform at Sting Jamaica every year. He will be joined by Ghana’s Stonebwoy.
The event will be streamed live on Sting Jamaica website on Saturday, 26 December.
