“i” the project is a 4TrackSession of love jams in every sense of the word,’ that touches on realistic and thought-provoking subjects painting a picture of what society for centuries has shaped and defined as a way of life. This picture is painted over a series of reggae and dancehall sounds with a pinch of hip-hop as it is what Gudntentionz (the artist) originates and thrives from creatively. The session conceptually is dedicated to the legendary Jamaican musician Buju Banton whom Gud mentions in the track titled ‘Make Away’ as a sign of respect to a man who has immensely influenced the sound of Reggae and Ragga in Jamaica and the world over. Buju Banton features on the project with some words of wisdom and charismatic excellence that dare to inspire the willing and driven. The single “i” which also is featured on the session overlay concludes that above all, Jah (God) is the key to true happiness and ultimate fulfilment in one’s life.
