The Empire is a reggae/dancehall radio show hosted by L.R Masole aka “LR Da SoulJah” every Saturday from 12:00-15:00 on Karabo FM (103.7mhz) which covers the Vaal and northern Free State area targeting the youth and elders in those communities.
The show has been running since February 2017 just after successful auditions that were held at the station, where LR amazed the judges by his talent. LR is an artist born and bred in Zamdela Sasolburg, where he grew up doing performing arts from singing, acting and dancing at his primary school ages. He then grew up to master most of his acting that got him to German stages where he did several parts acting some of William Shakespeare’s books. There he met with other Africans and had talks about Reggae and that’s when LR started to follow the reggae nation. He’s now ‘The Emperor’ of his Karabo FM show The Empire.
