The South African Traditional Music Achievements [SATMA] awards closes the nominations entry today 21 July 2017 at 12:00pm. This year they are celebrating Legends who have set the path in traditional music by preserving the authentic original sounds. Reggae has its own legends who are still active and producing music like Angolah Maseko,Thuthukani Cele who had made their entries. Here are other entries representing Reggae going head to head with genres popular in South Africa’s music circles. With over 169 000 nomination votes which SATMA says its unprecedented, it promises to be an interesting event.
