This is the lead single and title of Jahkongo’s upcoming album due for release this year. Farm beats family provided the instrumentals and BabySkru Production provided the studio set up for voicing with Humblewise Production on the overall production of the song.

“We saw the land being grabbed in some parts of Western Cape were about 72 informal settlements were built, it was upon reflecting on such incidents that the song Umhlaba came about. The song mostly talks about how democracy has moved away from our actual cause for fighting the White Regime. Like Honourable Doc Robert Mangaliso Sobuwe would say Land first. Umhlaba is all we were fighting for and the living stock of our fore Fathers.” – JahKongo
