Love them All but Trust No One is an eight track Poetry Album by Rooijah, a native of Ha-Lambani Nzanwe village outside of Thohoyandou in the Limpopo Province. His last project, an Album titled Muloro, came out in 2019 and he has been performing live gigs since then. It was the reception of his live performances that led him to put out a full on Poetry Album. He enlisted some big names like award nominee Bashy Jahbless, Davisto Makwarela, Gwaan Dread and Awee to add to the project.
Born Ndivhuwo Rogers Tshipenga, Rooijah takes pride in being one of the few Reggae Poets in South Africa. He was inspired by poetry artists such as Jamaican Jean Binta Breeze and the UK-based dub reggae artist Linton Kwesi Johnson. He was also a staunch fan of Jahman ‘Jump the Gun’ Chiganja, a prominent local Reggae icon known for his unapologetic lyrics, who passed away in 2018.He would often vibe with the late Jahaman and accompany him to gigs.
