The Meditators Release Single and Video; Unveils Artwork for Upcoming Album titled Elevate
The Meditators Reggae Band of Durban released their latest single titled My Queen, taken off the upcoming album Elevate. The track My queen is accompanied by a video featuring Thandeka Dlamini from Blackfox Martial Arts shot on location at Salt Rock, South Africa, by Loop Evolution Records. and The Farm.
Elevate, The Album
The album Elevate is slated for digital release on September 24, 2023. This will be the 6th studio album from the ‘Special Request’ hit makers. Their previous album, “Explosion” was nominated for the SAMA Best Reggae Album award in 2019.
They have performed on many stages with highly acclaimed artists around the country. They are very involved in the reggae music scene and they were instrumental in organizing the annual Bob Marley Reggae Fest in Durban. They opened for UB40 in 2018 in Durban and Pretoria to Sold Out shows.
The Meditators Reggae Band was founded in 1990, by Sandile ‘Ras Shante’ Bekwa and currently has 6 full time members.
