The fourth installment of the African Storm Sound System Dance hall Queen Competition is upon us.
Its a competition that attracts contestants from all over Mzansi and even getting national media coverage. The Weekly Ragga Night Sessions in Bassline, Johannesburg will transform into a Dance Off, a battle for the title that comes with a R20 000 Cash prize and some incentives.
Nkulee Dube and Faya Uman, queens pon the mic, will showcase vocal and lyrical talent longside Jeremiah Fyah Ises , General Plago and the man of the moment Tocky Vibes to provide nuff entertainment for the night.
The reigning DHQ are:
2011 – Tokyo from the North West
2012 – Shorts from Vaal
2013 – Fire Lady from Soweto
The event will take place on Thursday 27 November at Bassline, Johannesburg.
