Maurice Cooper is a new Uganda dancehall artiste bringing new sound to the Uganda dancehall music with an urban touch of reggae and dancehall/
The artiste has done recordings several studio’s in Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Zimbawe and United kingdom. Maurice Cooper has featured on different riddims like; the brutal fruits riddim produced by Artkal Ranks, Salvation riddim and we Madd riddim by Analytical Alz, Afrikan lilly riddim by fareast empire in Kenya, dancehall empire riddim by Rocksolid records on legit releases.
He draws his inspiration from both local and international artistes like Flexx, Vybz Kartel, Aidonia, Friscokid and more
He further states that dancehall flows in his blood and he has released songs like None, Magical whine, Body calling me, Dem ah vex.
The artiste has always worked with Ugandan producers like Paul O.J of O.J productions, Analytical Alz and Nase pro both of Portbell drive music and more from Uganda plus some other outside producers like D.J Ishens from Zimbabwe Artikal Ranks from South Africa Rankie Saddat from Kenya Mastermix from the U.K .

Maurice Cooper’s musical topics are based more on happy times ranging from love, girls, clubs, raving and haters. As its a cult in the dancehall world he is artikal and takes no chat from no man and he is ready to crush any body with a peeping tongue.
