South Africa’s reggae/dancehall star, BlackDillinger, writes a Letter To Thuli Madonsela [Public Protector] : The sizzling hot single addresses one of South Africa’s difficult subjects, the Land, which still remains largely in the hands of white people two decades into the democratic dispensation. Featured in the song is the multi-talented RubyGold, whose vocals add a different musical dimension to the lyrically aggressive reggae sing-jaying by Black Dillinger. Jah Muzik Productionz, the same label that released Black Dillinger’s Live In Munich album, puts reggae at the centre of a sensitive topic very few South African artists address in their music. #LetterToThuliMadonsela holds no bars and puts upfront the fact that the land, was stolen and that Black people were given political freedom without their land, thus treated like token. The song further calls onto Black youth to rise up, as a chosen generation whose mission includes fighting for the return of the land back to its rightful owners. #LetterToThuliMadonsela is co-produced by Jamaica’s Konsequence Muzik and South Africa’s Jah Muzik Productionz on the Life To Live Riddim.

The hot single reached the ears of the Public Protector and got retweeted.
