Conquerors Reggae Band Debuts at Cape Town Jazzathon 2020
Gather your tribe and come and feel the vibes, Conquerors Reggae Band, one of Cape Town’s most dedicated Reggae band will make its first appearance at the Cape Town Jazzathon 2020 on Saturday, January 11, 2020. The band has consistently performed at Western Cape Reggae gigs and festivals including Reggae inna Park, Sunny Ocean Reggae Festival, Rasta Cultural Festival, Monwabisi Beach Reggae Sunsplash and Jammin Reggae Festival.
They have recently concluded their Reggae at the Market Tour with the aim of spreading Reggae vibes to a cross over market and contributing to nation building and promoting oneness in a highly polarised city of Cape Town. The Reggae at the Market tour saw them performing at Lourensford Market in Somerset, Hout Bay Market and the trendy Mojo Market.
The band from Kraaifontein, a suburb of Cape Town notorious for its escalating crime in recent years, hopes to be the light in the darkness with their original brand of roots reggae music. Entry is free and performances takes place from 1pm – 8pm daily. The Conquerors will perform on Saturday, 11 January at 13:30 CAT
