Miami- and New York City-based DJ/Producer EchoSlim and Nicko Rebel Music recently teamed up with the internationally acclaimed Queen of Reggae, Nadine Sutherland, who brought fans anthems like “Action” and “Anything For You” to produce “Dance Africa”—an uplifting new Reggae single dedicated to the Motherland. The single was officially released on May 19th and is now available on iTunes.
Known for his seamless fusion of different genres of music, EchoSlim has had heads bopping to an array of remixes for several years now, beginning with his dope hip-hop remix of Bob Marley and the Wailers’ “Bus Dem Shut,” of which LargeUp.com said, “
Echo followed up with a steady flow of tracks such as “Salute We,” a dancehall remix featuring Super Cat; “Dem Bad Mind,” a new Sizzla track he co-produced with the Miami-based Yaga Sounds; “Di Best,” a dancehall track he collaborated on with Nicko Rebel, and EDM songs like “Style On Them,” “Grand Larceny,” and “Tradition,” on his Red, White and Black EP.

Beginning as DJTK in South Florida, EchoSlim discovered his ability to produce music and write songs during his years of entertaining masses around the world as the DJ for the hip-hop/classical band Black Violin.
