Reggae Nights on Thursdays at Sundowner Sports Bar in Alberton is hosted by Umoja Urban Culture with King Roots International Sound System. Umoja Urban Culture also run a well stocked up Rasta Shop in the vicinity. Any Rasta paraphernalia, Rasta Wear, Accessories and Pan African Literature can be found at Umoja Urban Culture. Later when its greater, its Reggae Nights at Sundowners which is not far from the shop. It is a nice laid back atmosphere with outdoor area and full bar catering. The music is mature and rootical with your hosts King Roots International, Ital Steppa and Mjava45. Often they invite sound systems from the vicinity to come play there, but it is the home of Dub. The east rand Dub massive hold a vibe every now and then. On some occasions they host Reggae dances in Katlehong, South Africa at the local Art Center. “The aim of these dances is to bring music to the people and grow the love of Rastafari Culture.” UUC.
