The site of the old fire station has served many purposes in its lifetime: dumping ground, fire station, and now houses a museum and school of performing arts. It has definite historical significance with regards to the development of the city of Pretoria.Of late, it has played host to Reggae and Dancehall events. It is patronised by the Pretoria massive especially for live events. Lufuno Nnzene Munzhelele and Tonny Mukosi, Jah Soldier, launched their albums there recently and the SATMA award winner Ras Judah of the Next Generation band has been spotted a few times there as well as Colbert Mukwevho.

The Sebokeng Zone 14 Community Hall has been the home of Reggae and Dancehall for a long while, out running the similar Mzimhlophe Hall in Soweto which served a similar purpose but of late has wind down. The Zone 14 Hall has become home to Reggae Dancehall gigs. The Vaal Massive patronise this space for all Dancehall major and regular monthly gigs.It turns up the loudest because The Vaal Massive Never Disappoints.  Cover charge usually ranges from R20 – R50.
