Monate Fela Roadhose is known for its popular weekly comedy shows #ComedyFela, and for its good tasty fast food. Its a family friendly joint, with outside seating area and a huge parking space area making it ideal for the King Steppas troupe. Its been in operation for the last 6 years and this year it opened its doors to Reggae Dancehall. Tydal Kamau perfomed there on his Africa Calling Tour. Now they will be hosting DJ Nahlingah’s 4th Annual Birthday Celebration and are planning to host more reggae dancehall gigs on the regular. Check Photos here.

Often frequented by Malawian expats, the space provides a customary stop for almost all the Malawian artists coming to perform in SA including Lucious Banda, Blasto Imva, Skifa Chimoto, K2B Block. Not only does it cater for Malawians, but the club is open to any Reggae Dancehall lover. Early this year they hosted a succesful Jah Crucial Benefit Concert organised by Sounds of Edutainment, Born African Productions and Empress Pro Productions. On Sundays they host Sunday Reggae Vibrations with Resident DJs. It is turning out to be a hub for Album Launches and Cultural Events such as Africa Day. Great atmosphere and ample safe parking.
