It has been confirmed that International Reggae Star Gentleman will headline the Jammin Reggae Fest 2017 on March 11, in Cape Town. The event will be held at Hillcrest Quarry in Durbanville, home to Jammin Reggae Fest which is in its 3rd edition this year. The line-up also includes some of Cape Town’s popular bands like The Rudimentals, Sons of Selassie, Tenton and Free Radical and more artists to be announced. Triple Crown Sound will also play a set.
The Jammin Reggae Fest offers live music in an open air set up where patrons can enjoy Jamaican cuisine and Carribean party with full bar facilities and a Carribean Kitchen Food Court at the venue.

Gentleman, real name Tilmann Otto, Germany’s well known Reggae Artist has given us massive hits like ‘Send a Prayer‘, ‘Dem Gone‘, ‘Leave Us Alone‘ and ‘Run Away‘. He has 12 albums under his belt, including 2 Live DVD’s. His latest project is in collaboration with Kymani Marley, son of Reggae Legend, Bob Marley. The result is a 14 track album called ‘Conversations‘ recorded in Miami and Cologne.
Gentleman will be visiting and performing in Cape Town for the second time. He performed at the Breath Sunshine African Music Conference and Unity Jam back in 2014. The Unity Jam was held in Langa, Cape Town. He will be backed by South Africa’s leading band, Azania Band.
