Cape Town’s Dancehall production machinery seems to be operating non stop twenty four seven. The latest riddim comes out of Uplivement Production stable, ting called God of War Riddim produced by Silectah Riddim. It has that distinct Cape Town feel that is now starting to define the sounds from the Cape Flats and the surrounding townships. It boasts the usual suspects; Juggernaut, Diamond White, Fire Flames, Yagga Flame and Jah Link. Wipe out makes an impressive showing with Many are Called, while Fire Flames teams up with Jamaican Xtrail to deliver the title God of War. I Ras renders an anthem like status to Dem A Start War, which is no doubt the top tune pon the riddim. Infact all of them artists voiced the riddim with their signature styles and did justice to it.
