Trinidad born, US based DJ Kobie Quashie of Ashanti Hi Fi sat down with MzansiReggae to reason about his frequent trips to South Africa, Reggae and his love for Afrika. He guest played at the Bob Marley Celebrations in Newtown, Johannesburg; hopped on local taxis to visit friends in the Township; mingled and reasoned with fellow DJ’s and departed with a promise to come back home, his second home.
