Iwan to celebrate 10 years since his debut Album – My Time
Ghanaian Reggae Dancehall artist Abdul Razak Issahaku aka Iwan ‘The lyrical Gunshot’ is set to celebrate 10 years anniversary since his debut album MY TIME dropped on 12 September 2010 . He is the first reggae artist to win the Best Reggae Artist of the year at the 2011 Ghana Music Awards. The Album boasted breakthrough tracks like Give Thanks and Praises, Jah Bless me and That Day. The Self Proclaimed Reggae Dancehall King subsequently recorded eight studio albums; 12 September (2011), Jah (2014), Am A Gideon Mixtape (2015), Gaskiya (2016), Trust in the Lord (2017), We are Gods (2018) and recently released Cornerstone (September 2019). He has also produced a number of riddims under his label Gideon Force International: AK47 Riddim, Sweet Riddim 2019.
It hasn’t been a smooth ride for the ‘Who’s Bad’ hitmaker, the artist who was signed under Bullhaus Entertainment which is run by Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson AKA Bulldog, the pair split up in 2011 and for the longest time the pair had bad blood between themselves.
