The second coming of the messenjah.
It was in 2012 when Luciano the Messenjah came to South Africa for a massive performance at a full to capacity Baseline in Johannesburg. The massive came out in full force to catch the message from the Messenjah live. The atmosphere was euphoric and it was clear that Luciano has a huge following in South Africa.
Fast forward to 2014, the Messenjah returns to South Africa for a two city tour in Johannesburg and Cape Town as part of his Africa Tour 2014. The dates are confirmed in Ghana, his first stop, with two shows; Malawi with Born Afrikan, then over to Zambia for two shows before touching down to South Africa and finally sealing it off in Zimbabwe.
This is Africa at work, an impressive collaboration between promoters in different countries, to put together an Africa tour crossing and tearing down borders. We hope to see more collaborative efforts like this in the near future.
Cape Town based All Nations proudly presents this event here in South Africa with the tagline: ‘Feel Good Cape Town’ – ‘Feel Good Joburg’ referencing the atmosphere that The Messenjah always carries with him.
He will be backed by All Nations Band both in Cape Town and Johannesburg and supported by Sniper from Zimbabwe, Born Afrikan from Malawi and the feisty South African Faya Uman in Joburg and Teba in Cape Town.
