Luciano Live in South Africa – Return to Africa 2015

It has been confirmed. Luciano is set to perform two shows in South Africa in April to honour last year’s cancelled dates due to the Ebola outbreak scare and the warnings from Jamaica’s Health Minister. He will be performing live in Cape Town and Johannesburg backed by the All Nations Band. The line up has slightly changed with Zimbabwean Dzadza D replacing Sniper T, also from Zim, as supporting act along with Born Afrikan [Malawi] and Teba in Cape Town; and Faya Uman who scooped last year’s Best Artist of the year award will perform in Johannesburg.

Luciano, born Jepther McClymont, disappointed fans last year when he cancelled his entire African Tour which included stops in Ghana, Malawi, South Africa and Zimbabwe.  The Malawi date has also been confirmed for 28 March with Nkulee Dube slated to be joining Luciano and Born Afrikan.

This will be Luciano’s second trip to South Africa. He was here in 2012  for a massive performance at a full to capacity Baseline in Johannesburg.  The atmosphere was euphoric and it was clear that Luciano has a huge following in South Africa.
