The story behind the song is that Macka B was working on a project with Jazzwad, and one of the tracks was a tribute to Jah Shaka, written while he was alive and intended to be a living tribute. Sadly Jah Shaka passed away before their song was finished. Jazzwad and Macka B decided to complete the piece posthumously as a tribute.

He gained experience at King Jammy’s Studio in Waterhouse, Kingston, Jamaica, before launching his label, Jazzwad Muzic.
