For over four years now, Bashmouth Sound has been consistently hosting Mad Sunday Sessions in Cape Town. The sessions were previously hosted in various places until they found a permanent home in Dubliner on Long Street. where they have been running for over two years. They were hosted at Kasi Lounge in Montague Gardens where it had the longest run and had a short stint at the Cape Town International Conference Centre (CTICC) at the Marimba hall. Bashmouth and crew decided to record the Mad Sunday sessions Live as they had previously done before.
It proved to be a good move as the first upload of the Mother’s Day Special with Bashmouth on the controls and MC Sparta on the Mic has been received very well and landed on the 46th spot on the Global Reggae Dancehall Charts hosted by Mixcloud.
Here is how it went down. A nice mix of Reggae Dancehall with a touch of Afro Beat and sealing it off with ZimDancehall.
Another Mad Sunday Session
