African Top 40 Charts – @ncdread
NC Dread released his 32nd single, Steal My Woman, on the Bedroom War Riddim produced by DJ Wallas, the single dropped at the end of June this year and it entered the African Top 40 Charts on July, 14. The popular Top 40 Weekly Charts are hosted by TransAfrica Radio, an online Music portal that plays strictly 100% African Music, broadcast online and via DSTV audio bauquet on channel 872.
Steal My Woman debuted at #39 in its first week, then made a jump to #11 in its second week, just a few votes shy of being in the Top 10. The week that followed it fell out of the Top 20 landing on #28. It is now currently sitting on #17 in its 4th week.
Steal My Woman also happens to be the first Dancehall track by a South African to be featured on the Top 40 Charts and made it well in to the top 20’s. It has scaled up the ranks sitting comfortably alongside big names like Pato Ranking and Shatta Wale.
NC Dread and team must be commended for their hard work and tenacity which is starting to pay off, as we wait and see if he makes history and jumps into the top 10. It is only through the fans support and the casting of their votes that will help reach the top 10.
