Queen Fyah – Large UP
Malawi’s Undisputed Queen of Fyah dropped a fyah chune Large Up. An uplifitng song with an upbeat Reggae dancehall beat filled with wholesome lyrics, “This song is ah token of appreciation / Real people get it straight / you’re the foundation / Strong pillar of the next generation.
She greets us with these opening lines and continues to spur us on to uphold true livity despite the system that keeps gagging us.

Queen Fyah has basically picked up from where she left. Her music and her lyrics have always been that of motivating, instilling pride and discipline among the youth and always mindful and respectful of the ones who paved the way. She has that unique ability of being able to commune with the ancients and the youth effortlessly in her artistry.

The visuals accompanying the song tell of her return to the studio. Simple and clean shots of her literally walking into the studio and laying down the track in one take! In a studio with portraits of legends on the wall, Queen Fyah herself paving her way to legendary status, she explains to the producer, at the end of the recording, driviing home the message of the song:
