Ras Canly Scoops Tshima 2017 Song of the Year Award

Ras Canly has scooped this year’s TSHIMA award for Best song of the year. His hit song titled ‘Vhutshilo ri tou fhana’ has been making waves on radio ever since its release earlier this year. The awards were held this past Saturday, 30th September at the University of Venda auditorium.
Ras Canly is surely cementing his way in the music industry with his innovative style of Reggae. Shufflers Ragimana took home the award for Best Reggae album of the year for his latest release titled ‘Tshinwe na tshinwe.’ Both artists took to facebook, posting their hard earned trophies as well as thanking those who supported them during their campaigns.

Other winners include Fizzy (Best Male artiist), Thabelo Netshiunda (Best Female artist, Best Gospel album), Mazwale (Young Artist), Prifix (Best Hip Hop), Whitey Dama (Best Tshingondo), Om Owen (Best Dance), Kairo (Best Afro-soul), Tshimangadzo Sinyegwe (Best Traditional) and Nzhelele Gospel Choir (Best African Gospel).
