Reggae Explosion is the revival of the reggae music at South African State Theatre. It is called ‘Reggae explosion’ because it will explode the place with Reggae music. It caters for young, old, black, white, rich and poor, it doesn’t discriminate.
It is conscious music for conscious people, righteous music for righteous people. It fights the injustice globally, in order to bring peace, love, prosperity and happiness. It heals souls, spirits and minds.
In the judgement day, this is the kind of music that will be played. The judgement that is going to be in 3000years to come, which will be the 3rd millennium,3rd year, 3rd week, 3rd day, that composes The Trinity, The father, The Son and The Holy spirit. The father has ruled and the son has ruled also, now it is the time for the spirit to rule, for we are governed by The Holy Spirit. The musical journey of Carlos Djedje, on theday of the show, shall have a book commencement called “Carlos Djedje’s footprint” with 21 perfect artists featuring Mashakara dancers.
The SATMA award winner and reggae artist Ntshudu Guduvheni popularly known as ‘Judah’ to his masses of followers is set to mesmerize reggae music lovers with his electrifying performance live at the Rendezvous, South African State Theatre. Judah was born in a township called Makwarela in Venda, He started playing music in 1997 after the success of his Award winning first album, Judah is now busy with his second album “The truth” which is to come out this December and is also busy putting together an album with his band “Next generation” that he established in 2014 which includes other artists like the Tshima Award winner on Best Reggae category ‘Jah Soldier’ who is also part of the next generation band. After his album “Judah” he has performed on different stages nationwide and also shared stages with great artists like Oliver Mtukuzi and Colbert Mukwevho.
“The only challenge I have is having to do everything on my own, from recording, CD sales to marketing but with all the help from the band, friends and family and mostly God I keep holding on, my dream is to see myself on an international tour giving other nations what Jah gave me to offer and keep teaching the youth about their true history and origin and also help them through their spiritual lives and future through music,” says Judah
He is known for his humbling and spiritual uplifting Reggae show on Tshwane FM.Reggae Explosion will also feature some of the most grand Tshwane reggae exponents including Black Dillinger, Jah Seed, Zionruts, Judaman, Naftali, Rastaman Khushe, Orthodox , DJ Jah Humble and Many more.
