Izimbokodo Expressions Music and Fashion Extravaganza
In support of the 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM FOR NO VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND CHILDREN, Izimbokodo Expressions will be hosting its inaugural music and fashion extravaganza. This is where Roserro will launch her long awaited EP. An opportunity to experience her performing her single that was included in the Mzansi Reggae Sistas Vol 1 and other songs that has slowly garnered her a dedicated following. She will be joined by Nomhle Nongogo; DJ Queen; and a Fashion Showcase by 3 Female African designers from Congo, Zambia and South Africa.
The 16 DAYS is a worldwide campaign that aims to raise awareness of the negative impact that violence
and abuse has in society and to rid society of this abuse permanently. Izimbokodo Expressions aims to empower women by celebrating their diverse and immense talents through hosting culminating well organized, well-coordinated and well marketed music and fashion shows.
Izimbokodo Expressions celebrate empowering women as the key tool to building the future we require. The success of this campaign is attributed to the women involved in the project and those include; designers, musicians, models, wardrobe stylists, photographers and production team.
