Persistance is what brings Bongo Riot di Dancehall Wankanda back to the SAMA for the third time. Three years ago when the SAMA organising body re-introduced Reggae as a stand alone category, Bongo Riot entered with Next Levels Album, he had recently signed up with Powertainment as his management then and was constantly in work mode. The following year he released True Stories which caused a stir when he released the leading single RIP from the Album. He won the SAMA Best Reggae Album 2020. In 2021 he is contending in three categories: Album of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and Best Reggae Album. Persistence.
