The South African Traditional Music Achievement – SATMA awards announced the 2017 Nominees at a star-studded event at Durban ICC, Kwazulu-Natal on the 12th August 2017. This year saw an increment in reggae dancehall entries that were part of the 697 entries recorded during the nomination period.
