Skank and The Roots to showcase at the 4th SA Indies Music Week

Skank and The Roots are finalists in the 4th Annual SA Indies Music Week. The 4th Annual SA Indies Music Week is a music festival and community network for Underground & Independent Musicians; connecting you directly with other Musicians and Music Industry Professionals worldwide that can help take your music career to the next level from local to international! and help music fans, to discover new talented underground musicians, hear some exciting sounds and have the possibility to interact with other people with similar interests in 5 days.

The South African Indies Music Week is an annual musical event aimed at unearthing new talent to export to various festivals worldwide. It is a competition and the winner will be awarded an opportunity to showcase on international platforms such as:
SXSW- Austin Texas, USA
Africa Festuval- Germany
Womex- Barcelona, Spain
Primavera pro- Spain
MIDEM- France
CMJ-New York, USA

The event will take place from February 6 -10, 2017, at The Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City, Johannesburg.

Skank and The Roots are the only Reggae band selected to showcase at this strategic music event and are appealing to the masses to show them support and to attend their showcase.
