TSHIMA Best Reggae nominees

The 5th installment of the Tshivenda Music Awards (TSHIMA) will be held on the 29th September 2018 at a venue yet to be confirmed. The nominees for Best Tshivenda Reggae artist/album of the year are Code Mundalamo, Elekanyani Tshabuse, Jah Lady Doris, Jah Soldier and Radical Dread Sadiki. . Previous winners of the Best Reggae albums over the years are Colbert Mukwevho (2012), Burning Doctor (2013), Jah Soldier (2015) and Ras Canly (2017).
The awards were launched in 2012 and are envisioned as a ‘strategic platform designed to recognize, promote and reward local artists who pride themselves by singing in Tshivenda indigenous language while preserving the rich heritage and cultural diversity of vhavenda people.
